Happy June! To kick off the month, let’s look at some backlist books! Backlist books are books that have been out for over a year. What are five backlist books that you’ve had your eye on for a while but have yet to get to?
Have you ever read a book that you loved but hadn’t really heard about before in the book community? It happens to most everyone! This week, look for books that you wish more people in the book community knew about.
Have you ever rated a book five stars, but when you went to check it on Goodreads it was rated really low? What about a book that you really didn’t like that has a high rating? This week, compare your ratings and the Goodreads average to find ratings that should be much higher or lower!
Who doesn’t love a good romance in a book? Well, I certainly do. I just need a swoon worthy couple, where I can cry and laugh at the same time. And there are a lot of cute couples out there, so let’s see who my favourites are.
This has been a rough year so far. And many people are struggling with depression or mental health issues. Especially when your work closes or you lose your job, it can be quite challenging to be positive. It’s also very challenging when you’re a very social type of person.
Now the weathers getting real autumnal, I really want to read some spooky books. But I also have to go on reading Sarah J Maas, otherwise I can’t finish all of them before A Court of Silver Flames is coming out in February. So, I’m currently already reading Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn, but I’ve put them aside for a while to finish some ARCs. So let’s go see what I want to read in October.
When I was reading The Lunar Chronicles 2 years ago I immediately fell in love with fairy tale retellings. This series was so beautifully written, and it convinced me to start reading fantasy and sci-fi more.
I started reading fantasy only 2 years ago, so I haven’t had the time to read all the very popular books. I’m planning on reading most of them, though. But it takes some time. So here’s a list of some popular books/series I haven’t read yet.
2020 has been a weird year so far. With the virus outbreak, and everything around it, I feel like the year has flown by. Maybe it is because I haven’t done anything big, or because with all the social distancing and being at home all the time, there isn’t anything to hold onto.
